Ingredients

  • 8 chicken legs or thighs
  • 1/4 c soy sauce (or tamari)
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic

Instructions

  1. In a cup or bowl mix together the soy sauce, honey, sweet chilli sauce and minced garlic. Pour over meat and cook in a slow cooker, on low, for 6 hours.
  2. Remove the cooked chicken, and pour the liquid into a pot (careful it's hot!).
  3. Simmer the liquid over a low to medium heat (you want a light simmer, not a fast boil), for approx. 30 minutes until the sauce reduces and thickens. This will be your sticky glaze.
  4. Pour the sticky glaze over the top of your chicken just prior to serving and enjoy!
