Here is a healthy, wholefood take on a good old fashioned burger! These could not be any easier to make and will have even the most hardened meat-eater coming back for seconds.
You will need to make up our Indian spice mix to go in the burger mix which you can get the recipe for on our website or search on our additive-free App.

Ingredients
- 400 g tin chickpeas
- 1 small sprig of fresh parsley
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp. Indian spice mix
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 25 g coconut flour
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
Instructions
- Drain and rinse chickpeas and then add all ingredients to your thermal cooking device and blitz for 10-15 seconds/speed 6 or in a blender for 10-15 seconds/medium speed until well combined.
- Form mixture into burger patties.
- Heat frying pan on medium heat with some butter, ghee, coconut or olive oil (whichever you prefer) and cook until browned, approximately 4 minutes on each side.
- Serve on their own with salad or in a burger, wrap (GF if desired) or lettuce cup. The possibilities are endless. Enjoy!
These were really so easy to make and oh so delicious! I made up the Indian spice mix in Thermomix before making the burgers which meant I didn’t have to waste any spice. I would definitely make them again.

You could any of either plain flour, cornflour, psyllium husk or flax meal as these will work to bind it.
