Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken thighs (cut into thin slices/small chunks)
  • 1 small brown onion
  • 500 g water
  • 1 tbsp. chicken turmeric bone broth powder
  • 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 packet rice noodles
  • salt to taste

Instructions

Thermal Cooking Method

  1. Blitz onion 3 sec/speed 6. Cook for 2 mins/100ºC/speed 1.
  2. Add chicken and cook 4 mins/100ºC/speed 1/reverse.
  3. Add all other ingredients, except noodles and cook 5 mins/100ºC/speed 1/reverse.
  4. Break up noodles and place in serving bowl(s).
  5. Pour soup over noodles and wait for 2 minutes whilst noodles soften.
  6. Serve and enjoy.

Traditional Cooking Method

  1. Dice onion and crush garlic and cook off in pot with 1 tbsp of water until soft and translucent.
  2. Add chicken and cook 4 minutes until just cooked through.
  3. Add all other ingredients, except noodles and cook 5 minute or until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Break up noodles and place in serving bowl(s).
  5. Pour soup over noodles and wait for 2 minutes whilst noodles soften.
  6. Serve and enjoy.
