I don’t tend to cook pork very often, I generally stick to the favourites of chicken and mince. But these chops were on sale so I figured, why not? I just had to decide what to do with them…
After looking through our recipes for some inspiration, and thinking about what flavours go nice with pork, I ended up with this. We enjoyed it, and I hope you do also.

Ingredients
- 10 pork chop
- 50 g brown or rapadura sugar
- 1 brown onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp. mustard powder
- 1 tsp. sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp. sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp. tamari or soy sauce
Instructions
- Place the pork in an oven safe dish and set aside.
- Pour this over the pork. Cover and leave to marinate for at least 4 hours, but overnight is best.
- Blitz everything else in your thermie for 5 seconds/speed 5 or pulse in your blender until all mixed together.
- Place into the oven and cook on 150ºC for 2 hours, or place in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours.
- Serve with veggies, salad, homemade chips - whatever you like really!
