This is the most flavourful, succulent and delicious Turkey we have ever made! Especially when you stuff it with Jo’s Best Turkey Stuffing Ever recipe! This will absolutely be a family favourite at your next festive season gathering.
- 1 whole Turkey
Ingredients
- 1 whole turkey (skin on)
- 125 g unsalted butter (soft)
- 2 tbsp. fresh thyme or 2 tsp dried
- 2 tbsp. fresh sage (finely diced) or 1 tsp dried
Instructions
- Stir the butter, thyme and sage together. Set aside.
- Separate the Turkey skin from the meat using the back of a spoon. Try not to crack or split the skin. Do this by starting at the opening and push the spoon in gently working it back and forth until the skin comes away from the meat.
- Dollop spoons of butter between the skin and flesh, then using your hands, flatten the butter so it’s flat over the flesh.
- Stuff the turkey with ‘Jo’s Best Stuffing Ever’ recipe (link above) and cook as per Turkey packet instructions (this will differ depending on the size of the turkey).
