Mould around the house is not only unsightly but it can also have adverse effects on our health.  According to the Government of Western Australia symptoms caused by mould allergy may include:

  • Respiratory illness or asthma;
  • Watery, itchy, red eyes;
  • Chronic cough;
  • Headaches or migraines;
  • Rashes (dermatitis);
  • Tiredness;
  • Sinus problems, blocked nose; and
  • Frequent sneezing;

There are a few things you can do to reduce mould around your home.  Keep your house well ventilated, use exhaust fans in the bathrooms, open doors, and windows and let the fresh air in, wipe away condensation from weeping windows as quickly as possible, diffuse Tea Tree and Wild Orange to help purify the air and allow as much natural sunlight into your house as possible.

If you still have mould in your home, it is a good idea to remove it as quickly as possible and this is where we come in.  This cleaning spray will make short work of a yucky task!

Instead of reaching for the expensive and highly toxic chemical cleaners, give this cleaner a try first.  Tea Tree and Wild Orange are both known for their anti-bacterial properties, so when mixed with some white vinegar, mould and mildew doesn’t stand a chance.

Making your own cleaning products will not only save you money, but you will be saving the environment as you go.

Did you know:

  • Most household cleaners contain toxic chemicals. These chemicals can cause an array of medical issues and have been linked to cancer, asthma and more.
  • What we tip down our drains goes into our waterways.  This kills marine life, pollutes our waterways and in some cases has catastrophic effects on the fish supplies
  • Children are often more susceptible to chemical exposure from cleaning products than adults.
  • According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the air inside a typical home is 200–500 percent more polluted than the air outside mainly due to toxic household cleaning products.

Tea Tree (Melaleuca) is best known for its ability to purify the air, but it also provides a powerful boost to any cleaning regime.  It helps to protect against environmental threats and combined with Wild Orange is the perfect combination for removing mould from your bathroom.

Wild Orange is a powerful antioxidant and great for supporting the immune system.  It will help rid the bathroom of any unpleasant smells, leaving it fresh, clean and looking amazing.
