Our Lemon Pepper seasoning is so popular on chicken that we thought we would give it a try on fish, and what better way to eat fish than in tacos.

Our family devoured these so fast it was crazy. We ate them with corn salsa and they were amazing.

Tip: You can add a dash of milk or water to your whisked egg.

NOTE: below is a very rough guide of ingredients, as quantities will vary depending on how many you need to feed

Ingredients

  • white firm fish of your choice
  • corn salsa
  • lettuce
  • taco shells
  • 2 c breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 c plain flour
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 tsp. lemon zest
  • 1 tsp. black peppercorns
  • 2 egg
  • coconut oil

Instructions

Thermal Cooking Method

  1. Place peppercorns, lemon zest, garlic powder and salt into mixing jug and blitz 10 seconds/speed 9. Scrape down the sides and add breadcrumbs. Mix again on reverse 2 seconds/speed 7. Set aside in a clean bowl.
  2. Slice your fish into small, thin strips. Then coat in order - flour, egg, breadcrumbs. Repeat until all fish is coated.
  3. Heat oil in a large frying pan, then over a medium/hot temp fry off fish until cooked and golden on both sides.
  4. Prepare corn salsa or fillings of your choice.
  5. Heat taco shells as per packet instructions.
  6. Once all cooked, assemble your taco and enjoy!
