These chicken drumsticks are full of flavour and super easy to make. Serve with a simple salad for a mouth-watering midweek meal.

If you don’t want to use drumsticks, use chicken thighs instead.

When buying chicken always try and source air-chilled or organic to avoid chlorine exposure in your chicken meat.

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumstick
  • 2 fresh lemon
  • 3 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp. mixed herbs
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tbsp. bone broth powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Mix herbs, paprika, bone broth powder and oil in a small bowl and baste over the drumsticks.
  3. Place the drumsticks into an oven-safe dish. Thinly slice the lemons and garlic and place them around the drumsticks.
  4. Bake in the oven for approx. 45 minutes, or until cooked through. Turn halfway during cooking.
