These are an additive-free alternative to the popular store-bought version, and delicious served with plain original rice crackers or veggie sticks. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Tip: We bought these perfectly sized containers from the supermarket – they are the Sistema brand. We are unsure if they are still for sale. Otherwise, pour the dip into small, individually sized tubs.

Ingredients
- 200 g cream cheese, cut into small cubes
- 150 g cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
- 50 g milk
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Thermal Method
- Add cream cheese and cheese to mixing jug and chop for 5 seconds/speed 4, then scrape down the sides.
- Add the remaining ingredients and cook for 5 minutes/90֯C/speed 2.
- Once finished, stir with a spatula to make sure all the mixture is melted. If not, cook again for a further minute.
- Once fully melted, pour into containers and allow to cool and set.
Traditional Method
- Place all ingredients into a pot and melt over medium heat, continually stirring to ensure it doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot.
- Once fully melted, pour into containers and allow to cool and set.
