This instant dessert is even healthy enough for breakfast!  It’ll take only a few seconds to blitz up and you really can play around with the flavour combinations.

Frozen banana is the staple in this recipe to make it creamy and give that ice-cream texture:

  • Leave the raspberries out and add a tablespoon of cacao for chocolate ice-cream.  Sprinkle the top with choc chips.
  • Use frozen mango.
  • Frozen pineapple and coconut for a tropical theme.
  • You can really use whatever you like!

  • 2 frozen bananas, diced
  • 2 big handfuls of frozen raspberries
  • 1 full handful of cashews

Instructions

Thermal Method

  1. Place everything into the mixing jug and blitz for approx. 10 seconds/speed 9. Scrape down sides and repeat for a further 30 seconds, or until nice and creamy.

Traditional Method

  1. Place everything into a high-speed blender and blitz on high until nice and creamy.
