We love a good old-fashioned roast lamb. One that the meat is so tender that it falls off the bone and the smell, oh the smell, wafting through the house just makes you drool while it is slowly cooking away.
If you love a roast lamb, then you will love this slow-cooked version. The trick is using fresh rosemary and garlic, plus an organic leg of lamb!

So there is no added moisture in this recipe? I’m relatively new to Slow Cooking and still feeling my way.
Hi Suzanne
Thanks for your message. You will find the moisture from the meat is enough.
Thanks
Shane
Perfect! Yummo. Put it on before work yesterday and it got left on low for about 8h in the end. The meat fell off the bone. I made a gravy with the juices snd it was beautiful. Thanks for a great recipe. This will be my lamb roast go to from now on.
I have cooked this many times with different cuts of lamb and have all been super delicious, just pop into the slow cooker and you have a delicious meal that the whole family will love ❤
Looks lovely! What sized piece of meat is 6hrs based on?
Most standard sizes will work fine. Jo
