Add these to your meal plan asap, they are so super easy that you’ll probably make them a regular on your weekly rotation.

Something to note first – we recommend using a nitrate free ham, so please choose wisely. There are a couple of brands at the supermarket, or you can ask your butcher as well.

Hint – Make sure to have all your fillings ready before you start cooking the ham steaks and pineapple slices.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. coconut oil
  • ham
  • fresh pineapple
  • fresh salad fillings (lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheese etc.)
  • burger buns (gluten-free if desired)

Instructions

  1. In a large frying pan add coconut oil and heat until medium-hot.
  2. Cook ham steaks and pineapple slices for 5 minutes each side.
  3. Grill burger buns until slightly golden, add fillings and top with cooked ham and pineapple.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy.
