Why buy the store bought curry powder when you can make my own organic curry powder? It is so easy and you can adjust a few flavours to suit your own taste if you want. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do and once you make it yourself, you will never buy curry powder again.
This also makes a great gift in a hamper full of other homemade pantry staples.

Love this recipe, i had no idea that i could make curry myself prior to additive free lifestyle. Now i couldn’t be without it. Always in my cupboard
Hi guys. I’ve stumbled across this recipe via your slow cooker lamb curry. I’m now all excited and am planning to make that tomorrow. In the mean time, I’m going to make this curry powder… just wondering is it very hot….as in spicy? I have 3 boys 2,9 and 11. The two eldest can handle a bit of spice but not too much.
Yes I’m with Chantelle, is this a mild curry or with more oomph?
It probably sits in the middle somewhere :)
Thanks for this recipe. Will use it for the Tassie Scallop Pie recipe but will detune the chillie because I think the scallop flavour can easily be overpowered by the chillie.
