As a teenager, Terese was diagnosed with thyroid issues, specifically Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, an autoimmune disease affecting metabolism. She was told she’d be on medication for life. Just when she thought she had managed this challenge, tragedy struck: her husband passed away due to young-onset dementia.

The loss took a severe toll on her health. She found herself battling depression, and fatigue and was essentially bedridden. After undergoing countless tests that yielded no answers, she was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, triggered by prolonged stress.

Frustrated with the limitations of conventional medicine, Terese sought out an integrative general physician.
