Vegan makes it sound all fancy, doesn’t it? LOL – I just didn’t want to be one of those bloggers that called it ‘dairy, egg, gluten, wheat, refined sugar-free ice cream’… I’m puffed just typing that!
Anyhow, this ice cream is a great whole food ice cream that’s really yummy!
One thing I can’t stress enough though is that you need to purchase a peppermint essential oil that’s pure and food grade!
This ice cream will go hard once frozen, so don’t expect to pull it out of the freezer and grab a lovely big scoop like we’re used to with store bought ice cream. It doesn’t contain any anti-freeze, preservatives, or isn’t filled with air, so you won’t get the same effect. If you get it out when you’re eating dinner, it’s usually soft enough to scoop by the time you’re ready for dessert. Otherwise, you could pop the container in some hot water, or you can defrost/soften it in the microwave.

I understand that you’re trying to make a living and this is your business and you totally should get paid for your work but…if you have a tab on your website that says ‘Recipes’ and then every single recipe says ‘Buy our book for the recipe’ it’s a little cheeky!
Most people give away a freebie or two so people can decide if they like how you do things before committing to a whole purchase, to make them think you’re offering a similar experience until they read the fine print (so to speak) is again, a little cheeky!
I feel slightly tricked and it’s making me re-think any purchases I was previously considering as contrary to the image you portray it seems all you really are interested in is selling your products, not helping people live healthier lifestyles.
Hi Sally, there are over 200 free recipes on our website, all available for you to access. We have taken a handful of recipes down which can be found in our book.
