Oh my, these slow-cooked lamb shanks are so totally delicious, my mouth is watering as I write up this recipe, I must make them again soon!
They are so easy, it will take you about 10 minutes to make everything in your slow cooker. Go to work and come home to them smelling and looking amazing!
Serve with mashed potato & veggies, a salad or whatever you like really!

Ingredients
- 4 lamb shank
- 4 tbsp. cornflour
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 690 mL passata sauce jar
- 1 brown onion
- 1 sprig of fresh rosemary or 1 tbsp. dried
- 3 bay leaf
- 2 garlic clove
Instructions
- Coat lamb shanks in flour and brown them in olive oil in a frying pan. You can skip this step, but it's better if you don't.
- Add chopped onion, passata, rosemary, bay leaves and diced garlic into a slow cooker and mix slightly.
- Add browned lamb shanks into your slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours until the meat falls off the bone.
- We love to serve this with mashed potato and steamed veggies, but you can serve it with whatever you like.
These have become one of our families go to meals. Great on a winters night or a busy day!
