This satay sauce is fantastic for chicken skewers, stir frys, over our crunchy coconut prawns recipe and even fantastic as a dipping sauce. It’s a great all-round satay recipe that we are sure you and your family will enjoy.
This recipe is just as good with either crunchy or smooth peanut butter and make sure you get one that only lists the ingredients as 100% peanuts.

5 Stars – I love satay sauce but it’s hard to find a good one. This recipe is so easy and it’s fantastic for marinating tofu.
Could this sauce be frozen or do you think the coconut milk would go funny frozen?
Hi Emma, I would say that it would be fine to freeze and there should be no effects with the texture.
Many Thanks
Dear all, thank you for this recipe, I had a total gastrectomy due to cancer last year, I become intolerant for a lot of food( oil, milk, pepper ect ect).
I lost 50 kilos, trying every thing to spice up my appetite, this was awesome on my vegetarian salad, easy to make and taste good, thank you , keep up this with this kind of recipe.
