How good do these look? 🤤

I saw this recipe on Nicky’s Instagram at Nourished and Vibrant and made them a couple of days later. I actually made a special trip to Woolies to get some dark chocolate because I couldn’t stop thinking about them.

And they were every bit as good as I imagined!

Nicky is a self-proclaimed ‘Nurse gone natural’ and into holistic health and low-tox living. She also creates delicious recipes that we totally drool over… these banana bites being one of them. Her IG page is really helpful and we’re honoured for Nicky to feature in our App.

This recipe is really easy using ingredients that you most likely already have in your pantry.

Ingredients

  • 100 g dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 small banana, sliced
  • 1 tbsp. smooth or crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp. roasted salted peanuts (or cashews)

Instructions

  1. Simply place a tsp of melted chocolate in 8 small silicone moulds, add a slice of banana, 1/2 tsp peanut butter, a sprinkle of chopped nuts, and then top with another 1/2 tsp chocolate or until covered.
  2. Freeze for 2 hours then tip out and enjoy!
  3. Keep in the freezer for when you need an after dinner treat.
