Jelly from the supermarket is quite often packed with sugar and artificial food colours that may cause behavioural issues and upset tummies.  Jelly holds no nutritional benefit – until now! By using a pure, 100% natural gelatine that is free of awful preservatives, jelly can now become good for your health!

Team this gelatine up with a natural cordial (we love Roar Cordial), 100% juice or kombucha and you’ve got great, healthy, all-natural jelly.

Try and source your gelatine from grass-fed, organic sources. There are some great brands available so have a little hunt around and get the best you can afford, it is worth it for your health.

  • 2 1/2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c cold water
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. gelatine
  • 1 3/4 c boiling hot water
  • 1/4 c natural cordial or 100% juice

Instructions

  1. Mix cold water and gelatine together in a bowl, and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. Mix in all remaining ingredients and stir well, there should be no lumps.
  3. Pour into moulds and let it set in the fridge for 2+ hours. Setting time will vary depending how large your moulds are.
