What are you using on your skin? What chemicals are leeching into your system causing more harm than good? Have you looked at the packet of face wipes you currently use?
Fragrances are often added. If your packet of wipes says perfume or fragrance, then please consider switching to ones that don’t have them, or making your own.
Fragrances can contain hundreds of ingredients, sometimes even ones that are carcinogenic. I know, right!! Not ideal given we use them every single day and they are literally on our face.
So, how do you keep yourself safe… It is super easy, simply DIY your own. It takes literally 1-2 minutes and you can adapt the essential oils to suit your skincare goals. This recipe uses frankincense and palmarosa as both are incredible for any skin type. Actually, palmarosa is known to help even out oily or combination skin and Frankincense is a powerhouse for keeping us looking young and vibrant.
Give these a try next time you need to remove makeup.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. witch hazel extract
- 2 tbsp. distilled/filtered water
- 1/4 c fractionated coconut oil
- 4 drops palmarosa essential oil
- 4 drops frankincense essential oil
Instructions
- Mix everything together in a small glass jar. Then pour over the washcloths and allow them to soak up the liquid. Double or triple the liquid depending on how many washcloths you have.
- Store in a cool, dry place and use within three months. I tend to make enough for 7-10 days at a time.
Just wondering if the palmerosa can be swapped out for another oil as I don’t have that one at the moment?
Thanks
It is currently the free product of the month for April 2021 so it’s a great time to get it for free. Otherwise, you can swap it out for geranium :)
How lovely this recipe is! 🤩 I tried it this evening and felt so fortunate to have already gotten my hands on Palmarosa when it was Product of the month. Smells divine, great for my eczema-prone skin, and leaves my skin feeling so soft!
I make these regularly, would never go back to store bought wipes. better for me and the environment. Love them.
