There are so many ways you can make a burrito bowl, our favourite is with the pork from our bbq pulled pork recipe, it’s awesome. So if you haven’t made it yet, then you really must give it a go.  We also have a mexican pulled pork recipe and both of these work really well in a burrito bowl.  Then there’s our corn salsa recipe, which we love using in our burrito bowls – but really at the end of the day, burrito bowls are great for leftovers because you can add whatever you like.

Ingredients

  • pre-cooked meat - pulled pork, shredded chicken, bbq chicken, beef brisket, tuna, salmon, etc
  • cooked rice. Approx 1/4 cup per serve
  • corn salsa. Approx 1/4 cup per serve
  • mixed salad. Approx handful per serve
  • avocado. Approx 1/4 per serve
  • sour cream. 1 tblsp per serve

Instructions

  1. Re-heat the meat (or serve it cold) and add all ingredients to create a burrito bowl.
